Why a Custom Panel?
For twenty years, Port Townsend Marine Electric has specialized in rewiring commercial and pleasure vessels from twenty to one hundred feet. When we begin a project, we invite the boat owner to discard, along with all the old wire, the design and location of the vessel's original electrical system. The following usually must be repeated two or three times before its significance really is appreciated: "Please forget everything about your boat's wiring as it has been. Let's design a new electrical system that will suit you today, and for many years to come."
What may have been a good idea when a boat was built is quite possibly inappropriate or unnecessary today. A custom panel allows a boat owner to more efficiently and conveniently utilize the limited space within his or her boat.
