What is included in a Polaris Custom Marine Panel
Distribution Panel. Each distribution panel includes all the necessary circuit breakers, meters, and switches needed for your boat. In addition, each Polaris Custom Marine Panel includes a negative bar (or neutral/ground bars). An AC distribution panel also includes a two-pole main breaker, and indicator lights for "Power On" and "Reverse Polarity".
Alarm Panel. Each alarm panel includes a switch (for the "noisemaker") and an indicator light for each station; a test circuit; terminal strips sufficient for the number of stations; a "pigtail" to reach from the alarm panel to the terminal strips; and installation instructions.
Engine Panel. Engine panels differ considerably, but generally include: a key switch or some other means of energizing gauges and alarms; a "Start" button; a "Stop" button; a tachometer; an oil pressure gauge; a water termperature gauge; and a voltmeter and/or an ammeter. Gauges are available also for exhaust temperature (pyrometer), gear oil pressure, engine oil temperature, fuel level, fuel vacuum, and engine hours.
Genset Monitoring: "Voltmeter; ammeter(s), with current transformer(s); and a switch to select the hot leg to be monitored. A hertz meter is recommended. The Blue Sea digital multimeter includes all three functions.
